The Coracle
The Coracle is the monthly newsletter of the Diocese of Truro. Published on or about 21st of each month, and edited by David Watson, the Communications Officer, it contains news, opinions and events across the whole Diocese and also provides information from the national Church. It is circulated to every parish and is included in many parish magazines.
In addition, one of the Bishops always writes a leading article. There is always a very full Cathedral Diary, and regular challenging articles from the Canon Theologian, the Revd Dr Stephen Dawes. Occasional articles about General Synod are published, and there is always a detailed account of Diocesan Synods. News from the parishes is always welcomed, and concerts, plays, recitals, talks and Flower and Craft festivals which are promoted through advertisements in the Coracle always attract good audiences.
The Coracle, the monthly newsletter for the Diocese, contains key dates, Cathedral news, & information about events and life in the parishes.
If you wish to advertise in the Coracle, or to submit a news item, or photograph, this needs to be received no later than 5th of any month to be considered for inclusion. Advertisements need to be pre-paid; rates are published in The Coracle from time to time.
