The Church provides many stories for the media, and is increasingly called upon to provide comment on national and international affairs. The Diocese has a number of experienced spokespersons who are experts in their own fields, and the Bishops and the Cathedral frequently feature in the news.

In addition, the Diocesan Communications Officer edits and circulates news stories from the parishes and from Diocesan organisations.
