Collective Worship
All maintained schools must provide daily collective worship for all registered pupils (apart from those who have been withdrawn from this by their parents).
Collective worship in Church of England schools will be in accordance with the school's trust deed. Where provision is not made by a trust deed, the worship should be in accordance with the Anglican tradition and should be a full part of the life of the school community.
Governing Bodies are responsible for the arrangements for Collective Worship and should ensure a policy is securely in place and fulfilled by the Headteacher and staff. Thorough planning and recording ensures that the Governors are able to monitor and evaluate the impact of worship for pupils and staff.
