Workplace Chaplaincy

Workplace chaplains work in a variety of ways linking faith, worship and daily life, by visiting people in their workplace and encouraging people to deepen their understanding of the relationship between the Christian faith and the economic order.

In the contemporary world the church is concerned not just with individuals but with issues that shape our daily lives.

There are lay and ordained chaplains in workplaces all over Cornwall including statutory services, education, emergency services, armed forces, hospitals, markets and farming, retail sector and businesses. Cornish workplace chaplains meet together about three times a year for mutual learning and support.  New chaplains and those wishing to start a new chaplaincy are always welcome.
