Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers
Established in 1897 with its Patron as the Bishop of Truro, The Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers is affiliated to the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers.
The Truro Diocesan Guild of Ringers serves the Church in the Diocese of Truro by:
- encouraging members to ring for services and on other appropriate occasions;
- promoting good fellowship amongst ringers of all traditions;
- supporting bands in the recruitment, retention and training of ringers;
- helping members to achieve a high standard of ringing;
- promoting the installation, care and restoration of rings of bells and their fittings; and
- furthering an appreciation of bells and bell ringing amongst the general public.
