Ministerial Development Review

Welcome

In line with national policy, the Truro Diocesan Ministerial Development Review programme is up and running. If you are a member of the clergy on Common Tenure you will be asked to undertake a review. If you are on Freehold you are welcome to ask for a review.

Further details of Ministerial Development Review and Extended Ministerial Development Leave and the necessary forms will be found in Diocesan Guidelines, Policies and Regulations Section C.

Further information on MDR is available from the MDR Administrator, The Revd Jem Thorold (pictured below).  He is available to help you through the process.  Further information on EMDL is available from the Director of Ministerial Formation and Development, the Revd Paul Arthur, who can help you with the EDML application.

I hope that preparing for the review and meeting with your reviewer will be a positive experience and help you to reflect on your ministry and identify some objectives for the future, including the possibility of EDML.
