Training & Development

The Training and Development Department's aim is to encourage the development and skills of clergy, Readers and lay people in churches and parishes throughout the Diocese.

The Diocesan Training and Development Department is based at Diocesan House. The training team has a broad spectrum of experience and expertise in adult education and training.

The Department offers a wide range of courses for clergy and lay people, both multi-session courses, and single sessions. Some of these are available on an on-going basis and some offered periodically.

In all instances our aim is to motivate individuals to recognise the importance of training and development in its broadest context and to encourage participation.
