Parish resources
A parish's greatest resource is its people, and Parish Resources at Diocesan House exist to support those people who enable the mission of the church in their parish.
Some of this work is in the background, keeping the church running through administration and record keeping. We recognise that this is vital to the present and future of our churches.
Parish Resources covers the calculation and collection of the Common Fund, parish accounts and reporting, advice and support to PCC treasurers, stewardship and the Archbishops' Council Mission Fund.
There are a number of members of staff who are directly involved in Parish Resources.
Rebecca Evans - Stewardship and MAPping Advisor
Rebecca joined the Diocese in April 2011 to promote and support Stewardship and Mission Action Planning (MAPping) at all levels. Previously she had worked for East Cornwall Council for Voluntary Service as a Community Development Officer. Rebecca is working to develop networks of support on the topics of Stewardship and MAPping whereby there will be an opportunity to access training, skills exchange and information days. Alongside this, Rebecca will work with individual parishes to help develop bespoke programmes of support and guidance.
Rebecca works full time and is based at Diocesan House although provides outreach work throughout the county. For more information, please call 01872 274351 ext 214 or click here to send an email.
