Parsonage Department
The parsonage department of the Diocese of Truro manages a portfolio of about 150 residential properties including all the parsonage houses owned by the Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd, or by the Church Commissioners, and occupied either by clergy or tenants.
With a few exceptions, properties are located in Cornwall and are maintained to support active Christian ministry or future developments.
These guidance notes have been produced primarily to assist occupiers of diocesan properties to look after the houses in which they live. Rented and parish owned houses will be managed in the same manner although responsibility for the cost of repairs may need to be met by the occupier in accordance with the terms of occupation.
There are also important health and safety notes of which you should be aware to keep you and your family safe.
