Improvement Works

Various Improvement Works to properties will be required from time, to time including replacement of kitchens or bathrooms, or rearranging internal spaces to improve accommodation.

These items need to be discussed with the Diocesan Surveyor during the quinquennial inspection.

Following the inspection, improvement works are identified and these are then placed on a prioritised list of improvement works throughout the diocese, which are undertaken as and when budget and resources allow.

Generally improvement works, like replacement of windows, will be undertaken, at the earliest, in the year following the quinquennial inspection. Any particular requirements for disabled access are also discussed as part of improvement works.
