Songs of Praise films at St Piran’s Oratory

About 100 people gathered at St Piran’s Oratory in Perranporth for a recording of the BBC’s Songs of Praise.
St Piran’s Oratory at Perran Sands near Perranporth is among the oldest sites of Christian worship in the UK.
The Right Reverend Chris Goldsmith, Bishop of St Germans, said: “St Piran was a man of prayer and he taught others to pray.”
Songs of Praise recorded at the oratory will be broadcast on BBC One on March 1.
